As a Software Engineer in Forensic Intelligence, you will help build and improve video evidence analysis capabilities used by public safety agencies. You’ll contribute across the stack, from playback tooling to media processing, while collaborating with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable systems. You’ll grow rapidly through mentorship and exposure to diverse technologies in a mission‑driven environment. Responsibilities
- Develop features across forensic playback, investigation tooling, media processing pipelines and format analysis
- Collaborate with Product Managers to translate customer needs into requirements
- Contribute to quality and reliability via code reviews, test automation, and good engineering practices
- Work across the stack and learn new technologies within the domain
- Participate in operational ownership and on‑call support of team services
- Collaborate with engineers in London, Seattle, and Ho Chi Minh City to deliver capabilities
- Support cross‑functional teams to enable widespread use by public safety professionals
Key requirements
- Experience with at least one: TypeScript/React, .NET (C#), Python, or C/C++
- Demonstrated ownership, ability to navigate ambiguity, and collaborative problem solving
- Genuine curiosity and eagerness to learn unfamiliar domains and technologies
- Good communication skills and ability to articulate thinking clearly
- Desirable: interest or exposure to video, media processing, or digital forensics
- Desirable: experience with cloud platforms (Azure)
