Overview
As a Product Designer for AI, you will shape intelligent products from concept to scaled delivery, balancing user needs with responsible AI. You’ll work in cross-functional squads with PMs, engineers, data scientists and AI specialists to create intuitive, transparent experiences. You’ll translate technical AI capabilities into human-centered interactions and contribute to reusable design patterns and best practices. This is a growth role shaping AI-informed design within a studio that values trust, explainability and measurable impact.

Responsibilities
- Design AI-enabled features from discovery to delivery
- Shape experiences using machine learning, generative AI or automation
- Translate complex AI capabilities into simple user interactions
- Define appropriate automation levels and human-in-the-loop needs
- Use AI and low-code/no-code tools in research, ideation, and prototyping
- Collaborate with Data Science and Engineering to implement feasible solutions
- Prototype conversational, predictive and adaptive interfaces
- Define patterns for explainability, feedback and oversight
- Support client workshops to identify high-value AI opportunities
- Contribute to experimentation and evaluation frameworks
- Share AI design best practices across the team
- Present concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Key requirements
- 4-6 years in product design with AI product experience
- Agile, cross-functional squad experience
- Experience designing for ML, generative AI or automation
- Designing conversational, adaptive, or predictive interfaces
- Strong UX and interaction design fundamentals
- Prototyping complex interactions with Figma
- Close collaboration with engineers and data scientists
- Eligible for UK government security clearance (4.5–5 years UK residency)
