Overview
In this role you will help deliver essential water and environmental projects on site, ensuring quality and safety while coordinating with the broader project team. You will work within a cross-functional delivery environment to drive accurate setting-out, site surveys, and timely information flow. You’ll support the Site Manager in setting up systems, enforcing safety, and monitoring outputs, with a focus on practical civil engineering solutions. This is a hands-on engineering position at a company delivering meaningful improvements to communities and ecosystems. Responsibilities
- Ensure setting-out operations follow company procedures and test/inspection regimes
- Conduct on-site management and as-built surveys on completed works
- Assist Site Manager with initial site set-up and ensure systems and procedures are in place
- Support planning and monitoring of project output and enforce safety standards
- Maintain up-to-date material deliveries and manage plant levels for financial control
- Assist Site Manager and Quantity Surveying by compiling data on resources utilised per activity
Key requirements
- CSCS and SSSTS
- HNC / Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent experience
- Understand civil engineering principles and practices
- Knowledge of methods, materials and technical aspects relevant to the project
- Excellent organisation and problem-solving skills
- Effective communication with team members and stakeholders
- Valid driving licence and willingness to travel to sites across the region
