Overview
In this role, you will transform workforce data into actionable insights to guide decision-making. You’ll help unify systems and improve data quality as part of a cross-functional team. You will manage workforce reporting for governance bodies and contribute to the development of smarter workforce analytics. This is a chance to shape how workforce information looks for the future within a respected, employee-owned social enterprise.
Responsibilities
- Produce insights from multiple systems and translate complex workforce data into clear trends and narratives
- Challenge existing approaches and develop smarter ways of working with data
- Improve data quality and integration across workforce systems
- Collaborate with IT, Data, Finance, Transformation and other teams for broad exposure
- Manage workforce reporting for the Board, Committees and Groups and national returns
- Lead and develop a workforce data and systems team
- Ensure information quality and system updates to support reporting needs
- Oversee day-to-day management of the workforce team (recruitment, appraisal, discipline, performance and absence)
Key requirements
- Degree level qualification in a relevant discipline or equivalent knowledge in analytics and workforce systems
- Extensive workforce information analysis experience
- Knowledge of confidentiality policies, GDPR, and Data Protection Act in workforce analytics
- Masters level qualification or postgraduate study or equivalent demonstrable knowledge in analytical techniques, workforce systems or electronic HR systems (desirable)
- Desirable: ESR knowledge
- Desirable: Prince2 or similar accreditation
