Overview

In this role you will architect and scale Bloom & Wild’s non-horticultural procurement and stock planning function, enabling rapid growth with high availability and controlled costs. You will lead a team across multi-site inventory, partner with Warehouse and Procurement peers, and build automation to reduce manual tasks. You will establish standardized processes, KPIs, and governance to shift from reactive to proactive inventory management. This is a ground-up transformation opportunity tied to Europe’s leading DTC gifting platform.

Responsibilities

  • Architect and scale the non-horticultural stock planning function from the ground up
  • Lead multi-site stock availability to balance high availability with low waste and costs
  • Develop and automate supply chain tools and AI workflows to reduce manual tasks
  • Establish standardized processes and KPI frameworks for proactive inventory and risk management
  • Coach and develop a team of stock planners, building resilience and internal succession
  • De-risk launches of new ranges by preparing scalable operational infrastructure for higher SKU counts
  • Support planning and execution during peak periods to ensure continuity
  • Measure and manage performance of 3PW partners against SLAs
  • Improve supplier performance through internal reporting and supplier tiering

Key requirements

  • Experience in procurement, purchasing, supply chain or supply planning with team leadership
  • Track record of scaling supply chains during exponential growth using technology and automation
  • Tech-savvy with strong capabilities in building automated tools using G-suite and AI workflows
  • Strong leadership and mentoring abilities with stakeholder management
  • Continuous improvement mindset with ability to identify and automate system limitations
  • Proactive, hands-on approach to scale operations and cover gaps during peak periods
