As Associate Director in our Renewable Energy team, you will lead civil engineering delivery for projects spanning wind, solar, hydro, hydrogen, and energy storage across the UK, Europe, the Middle East, and Africa. You’ll steer technical and contractual work, mentor engineers, and grow client relationships while coordinating multi-disciplinary design. This role blends hands-on technical leadership with strategic project delivery to enable energy transition on a global scale. Responsibilities
- lead project delivery and maintain client relationships
- grow the team’s technical engineering capabilities
- review and generate technical and contractual information from internal and external sources
- liaise with clients, manage day-to-day project work within timescales and budgets
- coordinate multi-disciplinary design of renewable energy infrastructure
- respond to technical queries from project teams
- act as Lead Verifier on projects including feasibility studies and design reports in structural engineering
- direct and mentor staff and graduates
Key requirements
- BEng (Hons) in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Chartered status or actively working towards chartership
- Contractor Design Approval Engineer (CDAE) certification advantageous
