Overview

In this role you will support the HR team to maintain strong relationships with associates and managers, delivering reliable admin and non-admin HR support to help achieve business goals. You will balance priorities under pressure while contributing to people development and sustainability initiatives. This position offers growth within a renowned luxury hotel and access to Marriott’s global training network. You will work with cross-functional stakeholders to drive excellent service and organisational effectiveness.

Responsibilities

  • Assist the HR Manager and MP Director HR in maintaining positive relationships with Associates and Managers
  • Provide consistent administration and non-administration support to the HR Department
  • Support coordination of HR processes to align with business goals and strategies
  • Manage multiple priorities and stakeholder expectations under pressure
  • Contribute to people development and sustainability initiatives
  • Support recruitment, onboarding and communications as needed

Key requirements

  • Previous HR experience in hospitality
  • Previous administrative experience
  • Payroll experience (advantageous)
  • Previous supervisory experience (desirable)
  • Strong communication skills (verbal, listening, writing)
  • Proficient in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
  • Excellent typing speed and accuracy
  • Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail
  • Ability to manage varied needs and prioritize for optimal business results
  • Ability to communicate effectively with key stakeholders
  • High School completion or equivalent
  • CIPD certification (student or similar) preferred or willingness to study to at least level 5
  • Coaching/mentoring/learning and development certification desirable
