Overview

In this role you will help asset-intensive clients optimise asset performance through OT-enabled approaches. You’ll work with cross-functional client teams on asset management, operating model design, and OT integration to deliver measurable improvements in safety, reliability, and whole-life cost. You will connect OT, data, and IT systems to enable condition-based and predictive maintenance. This is a hands-on consulting position with tangible impact on client asset outcomes and growth of the OT proposition.

Responsibilities

  • Assess and design OT-enabled asset management and operating models for asset-intensive clients across energy, utilities and infrastructure
  • Analyze OT estates (SCADA, DCS, PLC/RTU, telemetry, data historians, condition monitoring) and develop recommendations/roadmaps
  • Design data flows and integrations between OT systems and EAM/CMMS (IBM Maximo) and ERP/analytics platforms
  • Contribute to OT resilience work, governance, change control, data ownership, and support models for critical systems
  • Explore and test use cases for industrial IoT, digital twins, and AI to improve asset performance and availability
  • Oversee handover of OT data from capital projects into operations and ensure trusted data and integrated systems
  • Own deliverables, run client workshops/interviews, and build strong client relationships
  • Support proposals and thought leadership; grow OT and asset operations propositions in the practice

Key requirements

  • Operational technology, control systems or industrial automation experience in asset-intensive sectors
  • Hands-on OT technologies (SCADA, DCS, PLC/RTU, data historians) and knowledge of industrial protocols (OPC UA, Modbus, DNP3)
  • Understanding of OT data connections to EAM/CMMS (IBM Maximo) and ERP; Maximo experience beneficial
  • Interest in asset management, maintenance, reliability; exposure to ISO 55000 helpful
  • Experience delivering change/improvement projects and owning deliverables
  • Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills with client stakeholders
  • Curiosity about AI/IIoT and advanced analytics in OT; willingness to learn and grow in consulting
