Overview
In this role you will manage a dedicated private client tax portfolio, serving as a trusted adviser. You work closely with clients and senior leaders, expanding your advisory scope beyond compliance. You’ll handle complex areas such as trusts, estates, IHT planning, CGT, non-UK matters, and HMRC enquiries, while mentoring trainees and contributing to workflow within a supportive team. This position offers ownership with guidance from senior colleagues and a hybrid work structure after probation.

Responsibilities
- Own and manage a private client tax portfolio and client relationships with autonomy
- Handle trusts and estates work including IHT planning, CGT, non-UK matters, and HMRC enquiries
- Develop advisory scope and move towards advisory work in addition to compliance
- Support and mentor trainees, contributing to how work flows through the team
- Collaborate with Senior Managers, Directors, and Partners to maintain quality and learning
