We are seeking a motivated and experienced HGV Class 1 Driver to join our dynamic logistics team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to be at the forefront of our delivery operations, ensuring timely and safe transportation of goods across various locations. Responsibilities
Operate HGV Class 1 vehicles safely and efficiently, adhering to all traffic laws and company policiesConduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are metDeliver goods using walking floor trailers, curtain sided trailers ensuring secure loading and unloading procedures are followedPlan routes effectively to optimize delivery times and fuel consumptionMaintain accurate delivery documentation and logs for compliance purposesCommunicate proactively with dispatch teams regarding delivery schedules or any issues encountered on the roadAssist with loading and unloading cargo when necessary, ensuring proper handling of goodsNight out money £30 a night.
Qualifications
Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) license with a clean driving recordProven experience as a commercial driver, preferably with walking floor or similar trailer typesStrong knowledge of driving regulations and safety standards for large vehiclesDelivery driver experience demonstrating punctuality and reliabilityAbility to perform physical tasks associated with loading/unloading cargo safelyExcellent communication skills and a professional attitude on the road

Pay: £12.83-£16.00 per hour
