Technical Sales Engineer

Overview

In this role you will enable manufacturing processes by applying CNC machining and tooling expertise to improve efficiency and reduce costs. You will work closely with customers across Yorkshire, supporting process optimization and tooling recommendations while helping to grow accounts and share technical know-how with the Field Sales team. The position emphasizes practical engineering support, tooling applications, and collaboration with suppliers to deliver better manufacturing solutions. This is a hands-on, customer-facing position with meaningful impact on productivity and cost efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Identify process improvements, cost savings and efficiency gains
• Conduct cutting tool trials and recommend tooling, speeds and feeds
• Support CNC machining optimisation across milling and turning
• Develop existing customer accounts and win new business
• Support and develop the Field Sales team with technical expertise
• Collaborate with strategic tooling and manufacturing suppliers
