Overview

In this role you will drive robust, data-driven schedules for SSE’s onshore wind and renewables projects, from development through operation. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to keep projects on track, delivering safe, efficient outcomes that support the net-zero mission. The role offers hands-on Primavera P6 planning, risk and delay analysis, and clear, actionable reporting to support strategic decisions. Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain detailed Primavera P6 schedules across the full project lifecycle
  • Collaborate with engineering, procurement and site construction teams to build realistic, logic-driven programmes
  • Identify critical paths, delays and risks and develop mitigation strategies
  • Conduct delay analysis and assess time impacts of changes, contractor claims and variations under NEC3/NEC4
  • Provide clear planning reports and insights to inform decisions and performance management

Key requirements

  • Proven experience in project planning/scheduling for large-scale construction or infrastructure projects
  • Solid understanding of construction methodologies, sequencing and site execution
  • Proven ability to use Primavera P6 to manage complex programmes
  • Practical experience with NEC3/NEC4 contracts, including delay impacts and contractor claims
  • Track record of delivering in complex project environments with defined roles and responsibilities
