Part-Time Railway AI Research Assistant

Newcastle University is seeking researchers to join the RAPID project, developing real-time predictive monitoring for railway adhesion management. The role involves embedded sensing systems, lab and field testing, and collaboration with industry partners to advance AI platforms for railway trials.

The position is part-time (18.5 hours/week) on a fixed-term basis for 9 months, with salary around £34,630–£36,320 per annum pro rata and excellent university benefits.
