Overview
In this role you lead the Knowledge Management function for key practice groups, shaping KM strategy and guiding the KM team to deliver market insights and streamlined workflows. You collaborate with Practice Group Chairs and Technology & IS leadership to integrate AI-enabled processes, enhancing how the firm leverages deal data and expertise. The position blends legal know-how with people leadership to drive strategic impact across finance, restructuring, and related transactions. This is a high-visibility role in a global firm focused on innovation and client value.

Responsibilities
- Lead and develop the KM team (KM Counsel and KM Lawyers) within the Practice Group
- Create and oversee engagement frameworks that involve practicing lawyers in KM activities and allocate workflow
- Distill extensive internal deal datasets to generate market insights for internal and external use
- Monitor deal landscape and develop materials to communicate trends to practice group, clients, and prospects
- Collaborate with Technology & IS leadership to develop AI-based workflows for extracting and analyzing deal provisions
Key requirements
- JD or equivalent
- Admission to at least one US State Bar or other applicable jurisdiction
- Progressively responsible practice management experience in legal or professional services
- Experience in a management role
- Experience as practicing attorney at a leading international law firm with finance transactions experience
