Financial Controller

Overview

In this senior, high-visibility role you own the full financial control function within a privately owned service business, partnering closely with the CFO. You will drive end-to-end group and statutory reporting, treasury management, and a high-performing transactional finance operation. You’ll provide commercial insight through month-end close and board reporting while maintaining robust controls and risk management. This is an impactful position focused on governance, efficiency, and strategic financial leadership in a dynamic environment.

Responsibilities

• End-to-end group and subsidiary reporting and all external reporting requirements
• Treasury management including cash, liquidity forecasting, and funding optimisation
• Delivery of a high-performing transactional finance function with strong controls
• Business partnering through month-end close, board reporting, and performance insights
• Maintain balance sheet integrity, control frameworks, and risk management

Key requirements

• ACA/ACCA or equivalent professional qualification
