Test Automation Engineer

Overview

In this role you help drive quality within client digital transformations by combining manual testing with automated approaches. You’ll join an agile team to define and execute test strategies, identify issues, and guide development towards reliable delivery. You’ll contribute to automating tests, maintaining frameworks, and improving testing processes to uphold high quality standards. Responsibilities

• Define and execute test strategies and scripts
• Accurate recording and monitoring of issues
• Support scrum teams to automate tests and guide development
• Review test environments and processes for continuous quality improvement
• Provide test estimates
• Perform manual and automated testing across browser, device, and API layers

Key requirements

• Automated Quality Assurance experience across cross‑browser, functional, non‑functional, API, integration and acceptance tests
• Experience with front‑end cross‑browser functional testing, device testing, exploratory testing, and UAT
• Proficiency in one or more of: Java, JavaScript, Python, C#
• Practical experience with open source tools: Cypress, Karate, Playwright, Selenium (or similar)
• Agile work environment experience
• SQL knowledge
• Performance or other non‑functional testing experience beneficial
