Contracts Manager

Overview

As Contracts Manager for the NTY & NTS region, you drive the growth and profitability of regional operations. You lead day-to-day grounds maintenance, winter services, and regional projects within Mitie’s landscape division, aligning with the company’s operating model and seasonal demands. You build a capable team, embed a safety-first culture, and pursue efficiency and effective resource use while delivering excellent customer service. This role offers impact across regional operations within a leading FM company, with a clear focus on growth, safety, and service quality.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations in grounds maintenance and winter services for the region
• Develop growth and profitable operation of the area
• Manage and develop a professional operational team
• Implement a positive health and safety culture
• Improve efficiency and utilisation of resources
• Ensure high-level people management and development
• Demonstrate excellent customer service
• Represent Mitie effectively at internal and external meetings

Key requirements

• Experience in horticultural/landscaping industry
• Previous supervisory/management experience
• Strong understanding of operational IT systems
• Knowledge of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality systems
• Experience managing safe systems of work
• Ability to represent the company in meetings
• Ability to lead, motivate and manage a team
• Willingness to learn and develop professionally
