Overview
In this role you will own the contractual and commercial management of complex customer projects and operational services for a global technology organisation. You will work across cross-functional teams to govern live contracts, manage risks, and drive performance against SLAs and KPIs. Your work will shape commercial outcomes in mission-critical environments and help ensure smooth project delivery and service continuity. This is a hybrid, London-based position with a focus on live project management and stakeholder collaboration.
Responsibilities
- Manage complex customer, supplier and partner contracts throughout the delivery and operational lifecycle
- Analyze obligations, deliverables, liabilities, warranties and commercial risks
- Own contractual change control including change requests, variations, impact assessments, approvals and notices
- Review claims, assess contractual validity and commercial exposure; prepare company claims and entitlements
- Monitor service performance: SLAs, KPIs, availability, P1/P2 incidents, service credits and corrective actions
- Establish and maintain contract governance frameworks; chair regular reviews
- Maintain contract risk registers with mitigation and escalation
- Manage disputes and escalations per governance procedures
- Collaborate with Operations, Engineering, Sales, Presales, Finance, Procurement, Supply Chain and Legal
- Maintain contractual records, correspondence, notices, approvals and audit trails
- Produce management information on service performance, risk, commercial position, change and actions
- Maintain telecommunications knowledge to challenge technical issues and assess contractual implications
Key requirements
- 7–10+ years’ experience in contract, commercial or operational contract management
- Strong experience managing complex post-award customer contracts
- Experience with contractual change, variations, claims, risk and dispute management
- Experience managing SLA-driven operational or managed-service contracts
- Strong commercial and financial understanding
- Experience managing senior customer and internal stakeholders
- Experience within telecommunications, rail, defence, utilities, infrastructure or another mission-critical environment
