Project Quantity Surveyor

Overview

In this role you will deliver depth and variety as a Quantity Surveyor in a London consultancy. You will support projects from early cost advice through delivery, collaborating with clients, consultants and contractors. The position offers broad sector exposure, ownership of work, and a clear path for progression within a supportive team. You will contribute to shaping cost plans, procurement strategies and value management across multiple sectors, with a focus on results and client relationships.

Responsibilities

• Cost planning and estimating
• Procurement and tendering
• Pre- and post-contract Quantity Surveying
• Cost reporting and commercial management
• Valuations, variations and final accounts
• Working closely with clients, consultants and contractors
• Managing projects and developing strong client relationships

Key requirements

• Previous consultancy / PQS experience
• Experience across sectors such as commercial, residential, education and hospitality
• Strong pre- and post-contract experience
• Good communication and client-facing skills
• Relevant Quantity Surveying or construction-related degree
• MRICS, working towards chartership or APC progression
• Proactive approach and ownership of work
