Overview

In this role you will oversee day-to-day support and continuous improvement of the Murex platform for Treasury users. You will bridge Treasury, Risk, Finance, Compliance and Tech teams to ensure the system meets business needs and delivers value. You will lead requirement gathering, change delivery, and testing activities, shaping how the platform supports financial workflows. You will build strong stakeholder relationships and drive improvements in processes, reporting, and user experience. Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to Treasury users of the Murex platform, resolving issues and ensuring the system meets business needs.
  • Partner with Treasury and Technology teams to gather requirements and translate them into functional requirements and user stories.
  • Support delivery of system enhancements and change initiatives, including analysis, configuration, testing, and implementation.
  • Coordinate and execute testing activities, including test scenario prep, UAT support, defect management, and issue resolution.
  • Maintain system documentation and configuration with governance and proper documentation.
  • Build strong stakeholder relationships across Treasury, Risk, Finance, Operations, and Technology to drive continuous platform improvement.

Key requirements

  • Experience with Murex is desirable; significant experience with similar treasury systems in banking/financial services is acceptable.
  • Strong knowledge of treasury products and processes; FX, derivatives, money markets or fixed income are advantageous.
  • Ability to engage stakeholders, gather requirements, and translate into effective system solutions.
  • Experience supporting system change, configuration, application support or technology delivery with an interest in developing technical expertise.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a track record of investigating issues and driving resolutions.
