Overview

As Creator & Community Lead, you will drive the growth of a new mobile app’s creator ecosystem by building a thriving community from scratch. You’ll engage and mentor game creators, run events like game jams, and shape product feedback with engineering to prioritize features. This role sits at the intersection of community, product, and growth in a fast-moving startup. You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams to scale early activity into a durable, engaged creator community.

Responsibilities

• Creator Success: identify and nurture high-potential creators and help them scale their content
• Community Building: establish and grow a brand-new Discord hub for game makers
• Event Programming: design and host recurring events, challenges, and flagship game jams
• Product Feedback: serve as a strategic bridge between users and engineering to inform feature priorities

Key requirements

• From-Zero Growth: proven track record building a community from scratch with no prior demand
• Product Literacy: experience collaborating with mobile app or software development teams
• Gaming Background: deep personal or professional roots in gaming to connect with creators
• Creator Management: experience running community programs that convert casual users to creators
