Overview
In this role you will support the Payments Services team by resolving delinquencies and disputed client items through skilled negotiation and analysis. You will be a key contact between clients and internal partners, safeguarding the firm’s financial health while delivering a positive client experience. The position operates in a fast-paced, metrics-driven environment where collaboration and accountability are valued. You’ll work across multiple systems to resolve issues, minimize losses, and maintain strong client engagement.
Responsibilities
- Contact clients by phone and email to collect outstanding items (chargebacks, fees, disputed items)
- Assess delinquency severity and apply established criteria to decide on actions
- Negotiate payment arrangements with clients in a professional, solutions-focused way
- Perform skip-trace actions to locate clients with balances
- Coordinate with internal teams to resolve issues and reduce financial impact
- Request terminations of client accounts to minimize losses when appropriate
- Manage return or billing of rented equipment as needed
- Operate a Collections queue in the firm’s proprietary system
- Navigate a multi-system environment while maintaining client engagement
- Document all account activities clearly and concisely
- Prioritize workload to meet performance metrics and efficiency targets
