W Talent is working exclusively with an established aerospace manufacturing business in Nottingham to recruit a Quality Inspector to join its highly skilled engineering and manufacturing team. The Role – Quality Inspector
As a Quality Inspector, you will be responsible for ensuring components meet the required engineering specifications, customer requirements and quality standards throughout the manufacturing process. You will carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections, working closely with Production and Engineering teams to identify and resolve quality issues and maintain a strong right-first-time approach. The position operates on a 3 on, 3 off shift pattern covering both days and nights.

Key Responsibilities
- Carry out first-off, in-process and final inspections.
- Inspect components against engineering drawings, specifications and customer requirements.
- Identify, record and report non-conformances, supporting corrective actions where required.
- Use a range of precision measuring equipment, including micrometers, verniers and gauges.
- Accurately record inspection results and maintain quality documentation.
- Work closely with Production and Engineering teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support continuous improvement and promote a right-first-time culture.
- Ensure all inspection activities are completed in line with company procedures and quality standards.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a Quality Inspection role within a manufacturing, engineering or aerospace environment.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
- Experience using precision measuring equipment.
- Strong attention to detail with a methodical and accurate approach.
- Good understanding of quality processes and non-conformance management.
- Comfortable working within a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- A proactive approach with the ability to work independently and as part of a wider team.
