Overview

In this role you will lead and evolve the design, deployment and 24/7 operation of data centre and cloud infrastructure. You will drive Infra as a Service/Platform as a Service, embed DevOps and IaC practices, and ensure secure, scalable platforms. You will guide a high-performing team to deliver reliable services, manage risks, and support business growth. The position offers hybrid work and close collaboration with cross-functional stakeholders to shape resilient infrastructure at TransUnion.

Responsibilities

  • Lead design, deployment, maintenance and 24/7 operation of data centre and Azure infrastructure (Nutanix, Windows, Linux, storage, virtualization).
  • Provide IaaS and PaaS capabilities to delivery and operations teams, ensuring reliable services.
  • Embed DevOps and IaC practices to automate deployments and enable rapid, consistent platform changes.
  • Monitor availability, performance, capacity and proactively resolve issues; plan for growth.
  • Maintain service availability of at least 99.9% with disaster recovery and business continuity planning.
  • Implement security policies, coordinate vulnerability assessments and respond to infrastructure incidents.
  • Lead, coach and develop the Platform and Infrastructure team and promote continuous improvement.
  • Plan and deliver infrastructure projects within time and budget, coordinating with PMO, stakeholders, vendors and MSPs.
  • Maintain accurate diagrams, inventories, configuration records and operational documentation; report on performance, incidents, capacity, risks and project status.

Key requirements

  • Experience leading enterprise infrastructure operations across data centre and cloud environments with service delivery responsibility.
  • Experience managing and developing infrastructure teams in a 24/7 environment.
  • Strong knowledge of resilience, capacity planning, disaster recovery, business continuity and incident response.
  • Experience planning and delivering infrastructure projects with internal stakeholders, vendors and MSPs.
  • Knowledge of security/regulatory frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, PCI DSS, GDPR or HIPAA).
