Overview

In this programme you join Nationwide’s Payments teams to build expertise in payments operations and contribute to customer outcomes. You will follow a tailored learning pathway with hands-on experience, digital learning, and industry insights, including six weeks onboarding and three rotational placements. You’ll work across Payments to understand how a major financial institution delivers reliable services while balancing customer needs, regulation and efficiency. The role combines learning, mentorship, and exposure to senior leaders in a purpose-driven, collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

  • Join high-performing Payments teams to support customers’ money movement
  • Complete a six-week onboarding and three rotational placements across Payments
  • Engage in hands-on experience, role-specific training, and digital learning
  • Participate in risk and control activities and process reviews
  • Analyse data and support change initiatives to improve customer outcomes
  • Engage with stakeholders and contribute to projects affecting payments operations
  • Develop skills in data analysis, problem solving, and communications
  • Work with senior leaders and the wider Payments community to accelerate development
