Overview

In this role you will lead electrical design on large-scale projects from a major engineering team in Woking. You will deliver robust design outputs and ensure compliance with international and regional standards while collaborating with clients, vendors, and cross-functional teams. You will apply ETAP-based studies and guide optimization of electrical systems to meet safety, quality, and schedule targets. Responsibilities

  • Deliver project work aligned with discipline design instructions and procedures
  • Produce engineering deliverables including Base of Design, specifications, load lists, datasheets, calculations, single line diagrams, equipment sizing, drawings and schematics
  • Perform Electrical System studies using ETAP
  • Contribute to layouts, equipment lists and cost estimates
  • Manage electrical engineering activities including progress reporting and quality checks
  • Support project change management for scope clarity and compliance
  • Assist in procurement processes and vendor evaluations
  • Ensure adherence to electrical codes/standards including Aramco SAES
  • Review vendor deliverables for compliance
  • Design motor protection and control wiring diagrams
  • Represent electrical discipline in client, project team, and vendor meetings

Key requirements

  • Strong experience as an Electrical Engineer on large-scale projects
  • Ability to produce detailed design deliverables and calculations
  • Proficiency in ETAP (or similar software)
  • Knowledge of relevant electrical standards and codes
  • Strong communication skills with stakeholders
  • Aramco SAES and Saudi regulatory standards
