Fire and Security Service Engineer

A leading Fire and Security consultancy have an immediate requirement for an experienced Fire and Security Service Engineer to join them.

Location: Multiple – Birmingham, West Midlands, East Midlands, Stoke on Trent, Staffordshire, Derby, North East (Durham, Newcastle Upon Tyne, Stockton-on-Tees), Leeds, Sheffield, York

Salary: £35,000 – £40,000 + overtime & travel (salary negotiable dependent on experience) OTE £60k+

Must have at least 5 years’ experience in servicing/maintaining:

• Security/Intruder Alarm Systems
  • Galaxy systems experience at the very least
  • Preferably a variety of different system types (Texecom, Scantronic, Menvier etc)
• CCTV systems
  • Analogue and IP
  • Remote monitoring set up
• Fire Alarm Systems
  • Advanced systems experience at the very least
  • Preferably a variety of different system types (Kentec, Ziton, C-Tec etc)
• Access Control Systems
  • Paxton Net 2

Experience fault-finding and/or installation of above systems an advantage

Also required:

• A positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Excellent attendance record in previous employment
• Computer literacy (our engineers use PDAs)
• Be willing to have security screening undertaken (as per industry standard)
• Full UK driving licence
