Director, HR Technology & Solutions Delivery

Overview

Inizio seeks a senior technology leader to own and evolve the global HR technology stack, with a near-term focus on Workday operations and design and a longer-term shift toward platform engineering and architecture-led delivery. You will manage end-to-end Workday IT, oversee HR technology projects, and drive governance, security and integration standards. You will translate HR needs into scalable solutions while building engineering discipline and ensuring alignment with enterprise strategy. This role offers impact across HR processes, technology strategy and vendor partnerships in a global context.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end Workday IT including functional design, configuration, operations and continuous improvement
• Translate business requirements into scalable Workday solutions with global standards
• Oversee Workday security, reporting, integrations and adoption of new capabilities
• Lead the Workday IT Operations team with incident, change and release management
• Drive automation, operational resilience and service levels for Workday
• Define HR technology delivery for major Workday and wider HR initiatives from design to BAU transition
• Set delivery governance across scope, plans, risks and budget; manage SI/vendor accountability
• Define technology strategy and multi-year roadmap for HR tech ecosystem
• Lead platform engineering evolution with automation, standardisation and governance
• Own technical governance across architecture, integrations, security and change
• Ensure secure connectivity between Workday, HR apps, data platforms and external providers
• Manage vendor relationships and technology investments for Workday and related partners
• Build and lead a high-performing HR Technology team across functional, technical and operational capabilities
• Foster cross-functional collaboration and establish ownership, quality and continuous improvement
• Be a visible senior technology leader across the organisation

Key requirements

• Significant experience leading Workday in a complex enterprise environment
• Strong Workday functional solution-design expertise across HCM processes, security, reporting and integrations
• Proven delivery of large Workday implementations and HR transformations
• Deep understanding of enterprise integrations, APIs and data integration
• Knowledge of platform engineering practices including testing, deployment, monitoring and automation
• Understanding of application security, identity management, data privacy and change controls
• Experience establishing governance for enterprise applications
• Experience managing systems integrators, vendors and partners
• Experience building and leading multidisciplinary technology teams
• Strong communication and stakeholder-management skills across HR and Technology leadership
