Staff Product Manager – Billing (VAT)

Overview

As Senior Product Manager for Billing at Perk, you own the vision and delivery of a financially central platform that enables accurate travel spend analysis, automated accounting, and scalable billing. You will partner with cross-functional teams to turn complex financial challenges into a seamless experience. You drive strategic alignment, impact commercial success, and help Perk win in new markets through a trusted, AI-enhanced billing product. Responsibilities

• Dig into insights from data and user feedback to identify high-impact opportunities
• Articulate and share the vision to keep the team motivated and stakeholders aligned
• Define strategies with clear problem-focused plans and measurable success criteria
• Collaborate with engineers, designers, and functions like Implementation, Sales Engineering, and Account Management to deliver value incrementally
• Position yourself as the go-to expert, creating training materials and keeping documentation up-to-date
• Empower the team with servant-leadership to maintain focus, foster creativity, and collaboration
• Level up the product function by continuously sharing insights and elevating the team

Key requirements

• 7+ years in a tech company
• 5+ years of Product Manager experience
• Experience with Tax product is a strong plus
• Working knowledge of accounting reconciliation and finance operations
• Strong UX sensibility with customer-facing, intuitive products
• SaaS/B2B experience and ability to collaborate with finance stakeholders in finance, tax, and compliance
• Ability to break down complex projects into executable steps and deliver value quickly
• Cross-functional experience with engineering, design, finance, and data
