Your new rolen As a Chartered Building Surveyor, you will undertake a varied role involving both professional and project-based surveying services across a broad range of sectors. You will work closely with clients, providing expert advice on building-related matters while managing projects from inception through to completion.

n Key responsibilities will include:

n

    n

  • Conducting building surveys and inspections
  • n

  • Preparing technical reports and dilapidations advice
  • n

  • Contract administration and project management
  • n

  • Managing refurbishment and improvement projects
  • n

  • Planned preventative maintenance surveys
  • n

  • Defect diagnosis and condition assessments
  • n

  • Party wall matters and statutory compliance advice
  • n

  • Building relationships with clients and stakeholders
  • n

n

What you'll need to succeed

n

    n

  • Degree qualified in Building Surveying or a related discipline
  • n

  • MRICS qualified
  • n

  • Previous experience delivering both professional and project surveying services
  • n

  • Strong knowledge of building construction, defects and maintenance
  • n

  • Experience acting as Contract Administrator on refurbishment and construction projects
  • n

  • Excellent report-writing and communication skills
  • n

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and build strong client relationships
  • n

  • Full UK driving licence
  • n

n
