Overview
In this role you will lead project controls for major infrastructure projects in London and the South East, ensuring accurate plans, cost, safety, environment and performance reporting. You will establish GRIP-compliant control processes at programme and project levels and allocate controls resources effectively. You will review proposals, develop realistic resource plans, and ensure data quality across cost and performance systems. Responsibilities
- Lead the programme controls function for infrastructure projects
- Ensure accuracy and consistency of plans, cost, safety, environment, and performance reporting
- Establish GRIP-compliant control processes at Territory/Project level
- Review new project proposals/remits and develop realistic resource plans
- Identify resourcing needs and liaise with planning to resolve issues
- Provide day-to-day reporting support to Programme/Project Managers
- Monitor data input quality to cost and performance systems
- Manage Investment Plan production and compliance with the Investment Competence Framework
Key requirements
- Experience in planning and scheduling functions including schedule development, control, and analysis
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Proficiency with PC operating systems and basic software applications
- Proficiency with Primavera (P6) and Microsoft Office Applications
- Knowledge of engineering, procurement, contracts, construction, and start-up processes
- Knowledge of engineering and construction management
