Overview

As a Lead Java Software Engineer in Wells Fargo’s Corporate & Investment Banking transformation, you will guide multi-year modernization of critical Capital Markets platforms to improve scalability and risk transparency. You will work within the CIB division to shape architecture and execution, delivering high-impact technology outcomes. Your leadership will drive cross-functional collaboration and disciplined delivery through strategic initiatives. This role offers the chance to influence large-scale architectural change and partner with teams to meet evolving business needs.

Responsibilities

• Lead moderately complex initiatives within technical domains and contribute to large-scale strategy planning
• Design, code, test, debug, and document projects including upgrades and deployments in the technology domain
• Review technical challenges and evaluate technologies and procedures for effective solutions
• Resolve issues and lead a team to meet client needs while adhering to policies and compliance requirements
• Collaborate with peers and mid-level managers to resolve challenges and achieve objectives
• Lead projects and provide guidance to less experienced staff
• Act as escalation point and ensure delivery of high-impact business outcomes through technology innovation
