Senior Family Solicitor – Cambridge

Overview

In this role you will join a national firm’s Cambridge office to lead financial remedy matters within the family law spectrum. You will work closely with the partner, shape the local team, and drive growth in Cambridge through client delivery and networking. You’ll mentor junior solicitors, handle complex cases, and contribute to business development to raise the firm’s profile in the area. This position offers an opportunity to influence strategic expansion and deliver client-centered legal solutions.

Responsibilities

• Manage a varied caseload of family law matters with a focus on financial remedy work
• Mentor and support junior solicitors and associates, contributing to their professional development
• Undertake business development and networking internally and externally

Key requirements

• Qualified Solicitor with 5+ years’ PQE in family law
• Excellent technical ability
• Proven track record of handling complex family law cases
• Solid grounding in the Cambridge market
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with a sensitive and client-centered approach
