Job Description:

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Refrigeration Service Engineer to join a growing and well-established service team supporting commercial refrigeration equipment across the M25 region.

This is a field-based role offering a varied workload, autonomy, and the chance to work on a wide range of commercial refrigeration systems. The successful candidate will be responsible for carrying out reactive repairs, fault diagnosis, maintenance, and emergency call-outs while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Carry out reactive repairs and maintenance on commercial refrigeration systems.
  • Diagnose and repair faults on cold rooms, display cabinets, chillers, freezer units, and associated equipment.
  • Ensure all work is completed in accordance with health and safety requirements and current F-Gas regulations.
  • Complete accurate service reports and maintenance records using digital or paper-based systems.
  • Communicate professionally with customers and provide technical support where required.
  • Participate in an on-call rota and attend emergency breakdowns when necessary.
  • Maintain company equipment, tools, and vehicle in a safe and professional manner.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience working as a Refrigeration Service Engineer.
  • NVQ Level 2 or Level 3 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid F-Gas certification.
  • R290 qualification.
  • CO₂ qualification.
  • CSCS card.
  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage your workload effectively.
  • A professional and customer-focused approach.
