Senior Delivery Manager

Overview

As a Senior Delivery Manager at Jacobs, you lead end-to-end technology change delivery within complex stakeholder environments. You’ll align people, technology, and business goals to deliver secure, scalable, user-focused solutions through multidisciplinary teams and external partners. You contribute to data-driven decision-making within the Data & Digital practice and help scale digital platforms for major infrastructure and transformation programmes. Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end delivery of technology change initiatives
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams, suppliers and stakeholders
• Manage governance, risk and dependencies across delivery
• Translate business needs into practical, user-centred solutions
• Support user acceptance testing, business change or technology adoption activities
• Apply appropriate delivery methodologies (Agile, Waterfall or hybrid)
• Utilise project management tools to plan and track progress
• Foster an inclusive, collaborative leadership style and continuous improvement

Key requirements

• Experience leading successful delivery of technology projects/products/services in complex stakeholder environments
• Ability to build trusted relationships across clients, suppliers, technical teams and business stakeholders
• Experience delivering third-party technology solutions including SaaS and/or PaaS
• Strong planning, governance and risk management skills
• Experience translating business needs into user-centred solutions
• Familiarity with Agile, Waterfall or hybrid delivery methodologies
• Collaborative leadership style promoting inclusion and accountability
• Nice to have experience supporting UAT, business change or technology adoption
• Familiarity with MS Project, Planner, Azure DevOps or similar tools
• Project management qualification such as PRINCE2, APM, AgilePM or equivalent (advantageous)
