Senior Decision Intelligence Analyst

Overview

In this role, you will extract actionable insights from complex data to inform strategic decisions for Barclays. You’ll build decision models, advise senior stakeholders, and influence policy through rigorous analysis. You collaborate across functions to shape strategic direction and drive value from data-driven opportunities. Responsibilities

• Provide strategic advice to Group Executives to support decision-making on business challenges and opportunities
• Develop and implement strategic advisory incentives to optimise bank operations via market research and analysis
• Collaborate with stakeholders to identify appropriate strategic directions that meet client and investor needs
• Create financial models to support recommendations and transactions, analyzing financial data and project impacts
• Manage transactions, negotiation, structure development, and post-transaction integration
• Maintain and expand client relationships and identify new opportunities through internal collaboration
• Identify industry trends, conduct benchmarking, and stay updated on developments in strategic advisory services
• Attend conferences and training to strengthen market research and advisory capabilities

Key requirements

• Proven experience in analytics, data science, or research roles
• Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Effective stakeholder management and communication skills
• Proficiency in analytical methodologies and data interpretation
• Ability to translate business problems into analytical frameworks
• Experience presenting complex findings to non-technical audiences

• Experience with project delivery in an analytical context
• Understanding of data quality and integrity principles
• Degree in a quantitative field
