Head of Humanities (History Specialist)

Millom School is seeking a Head of Department – Humanities (History Specialist) to lead the Humanities department from September 2026 on a 1.0 full-time equivalent basis. The post-holder will develop staff, shape departmental policy and progress the curriculum, with a focus on engaging and motivating students.

The ideal candidate will be a history specialist who can lead a departmental team with professionalism and a sense of humour, and contribute to safeguarding and school development.
