Senior Quantity Surveyor / Commercial Manager

Overview

In this role you will lead the commercial direction for joinery and fit-out projects, ensuring cost, quality and time targets are met. You’ll work within the client’s established commercial team to manage reports, cashflows, measurements and risk/opportunity assessments. The position involves coordinating with clients and senior management to drive project success across commercial, public and education sectors. This is a hands-on, high-impact role for a seasoned professional who can deliver consistent results and shape project outcomes. You will be central to evolving commercial processes and supporting business growth.

Responsibilities

• Produce and manage commercial reports and advise management
• Ensure targets for project cost, quality and schedule are achieved
• Delegate tasks and monitor project progress with the team
• Prepare cashflows for payments in and out
• Carry out measurements for valuations
• Identify opportunities and risks
• Participate in post-tender and pre-contract meetings

Key requirements

• Minimum 5 years in joinery or fit-out sector
• Proven track record delivering construction projects
