Overview
In this role you drive the Home & Living category within TikTok Shop, shaping growth, merchant management, and category initiatives. You’ll collaborate with cross-functional teams, creators, and external partners to elevate the category’s ecosystem and performance. You act as the expert on the category, guiding onboarding, promotions, and content strategies that attract customers. This is an opportunity to influence merchant success at scale in a dynamic, creator-driven marketplace.
Responsibilities
- Own and drive sales growth for the Home & Living category, manage seller relationships, set priorities, and monitor performance.
- Develop category strategy, optimize policies and product selection, and provide market insights to guide promotions and brand focus.
- Partner with the BD team to onboard key merchants, advise on onboarding solutions, and track progress.
- Collaborate across internal teams and external partners to enhance the category and overall TikTok Shop business.
- Work with Creator and Agency teams to enable compelling content that attracts customers.
- Become an expert user of tools for reporting, budget control, promotional spend, and content management.
Key requirements
- Relevant experience in Business Development, Sales, Account Management, or Seller/User Acquisition; track record in a client-facing role.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills; analytical ability with data manipulation (Excel).
- Customer-focused mindset with ability to operate in a fast-paced, collaborative, entrepreneurial environment.
