EveryDay, the social enterprise wholly owned by Age UK North Tyneside, is looking for a motivated and organised Area Co-ordinator to join our team across North Tyneside .

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced health and social care professional who is passionate about delivering high-quality care, supporting staff teams and ensuring customers receive exceptional person-centred support. Working closely with the Area Manager, you will play a vital role in coordinating services, supporting operational delivery and helping people remain independent, connected and well within their own homes and communities.

As Area Co-ordinator, you’ll be at the heart of service delivery, acting as a key link between customers, families, care teams and partner organisations. You’ll help ensure services run smoothly, customers receive the support they need, and staff have the guidance and resources required to deliver outstanding care.

About the Role

As Area Co-ordinator, you will be responsible for helping ensure the effective and efficient delivery of high-quality care and support services. You will work closely with customers, families, colleagues and partner agencies to ensure services are tailored to individual needs, promote independence and achieve positive outcomes.

You will play a central role in coordinating customer support, managing service delivery, monitoring quality standards and ensuring compliance with safeguarding, health and safety and regulatory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure customers receive a consistently high-quality service that reflects their individual needs, goals and aspirations.
  • Build positive relationships with customers, families, health professionals and partner organisations to coordinate effective support.
  • Support the Area Manager with service coordination, capacity planning and the onboarding of new customers.
  • Prepare and maintain care documentation, support plans and medication records to ensure compliance and accuracy.
  • Participate in on-call duties when required to support service delivery.

Working alongside Team Leaders and the Area Manager, you will help create a positive and supportive working environment where colleagues feel valued and equipped to deliver exceptional care.

  • Provide day-to-day guidance and support to care staff and Team Leaders.
  • Assist with supervision, mentoring and on-the-job coaching.
  • Promote EveryDay’s values, behaviours and quality standards throughout the team.
  • Work with managers to support staff development, training and performance.

About You

We’re looking for someone who is passionate about delivering excellent customer care, enjoys building relationships and can confidently coordinate multiple priorities within a busy and rewarding environment.

  • Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent.
  • Demonstrable understanding of the Health and Social Care Act 2010.
  • Knowledge of quality standards and good practice in care and support services.
  • At least two years’ experience within a health or social care setting.
  • Strong communication, organisational and problem-solving skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workloads and manage multiple activities effectively.
  • Experience using electronic care management or CRM systems.
  • Experience supervising, mentoring or training staff.
  • Strong IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.
  • Health & Safety qualification.
