Data Analyst

Overview

As part of Allica Bank’s newly formed business intelligence team, you will turn data into actionable insights that inform cross‑functional decisions. You’ll build analytics capabilities, develop ETL processes, and create dashboards to empower Finance, Operations, Credit Risk, and Product teams. You help drive a data‑driven mindset across the company and tell clear business stories from data at scale. This role blends technical work with stakeholder collaboration to shape strategic outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Understand products and processes through existing data and new data you collect
• Develop reporting that helps stakeholders improve KPIs
• Originate, maintain and enhance data analytics ETLs
• Build dashboards and reports (Looker)
• Collaborate with product, Ops, finance, risk to understand data needs and deliver data requests
• Develop and maintain data standards; manage data libraries and dictionaries; share findings
• Promote a data-driven mindset across the company

Key requirements

• Previous data analyst experience in a start-up or fast-paced environment
• Strong SQL skills; GCP/BigQuery preferred
• Solid foundation in Python or willingness to learn
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities and work with diverse stakeholders
• Effective communication; translate technical detail into business language
