Overview
In this role you join a leading international law firm’s in-house resourcing team to work directly within client legal departments on Real Estate and/or Planning matters. You will provide commercial guidance across property transactions, landlord and tenant issues, and development projects, while building strong stakeholder relationships. The position offers flexible secondments, access to firm resources, and a chance to impact client teams with practical, business-aligned advice.

Responsibilities
- Advise on commercial property transactions and landlord/tenant matters
- Support planning applications, appeals, inquiries, and infrastructure planning work
- Work autonomously within client environments and build stakeholder relationships
- Strengthen client relationships and identify growth opportunities
- Provide pragmatic, solutions-focused advice aligned with business needs
- Represent the firm within client teams while leveraging full firm resources and training
Key requirements
- 3-8 years’ PQE in Real Estate or Planning (England & Wales, Scotland or other common law jurisdiction)
- Experience advising on commercial property and/or planning matters
- In-house or secondment experience is desirable but not essential
- Strong commercial awareness and ability to work autonomously
- Excellent communication skills and ability to build trusted relationships quickly
