Are you an experienced Warehouse Operative? Do you have experience working within a fast-paced manufacturing, logistics or FMCG environment? If so, this could be the role for you!
We are partnered with a leading global manufacturing business who are looking to hire a Warehouse Operative to support their warehouse and logistics operation.
This is a hands-on role responsible for the safe, accurate and efficient movement of materials, components and finished goods throughout the facility. You’ll play a key role in supporting production operations while maintaining high standards of safety, quality and inventory accuracy.
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, check and process incoming goods and delivery documentation.
- Pick, issue and return raw materials, components, labels and finished goods for production and customers.
- Load, unload, wrap and prepare pallets for internal and external distribution.
- Operate warehouse equipment including forklifts, pallet trucks and RF scanning equipment.
- Carry out regular cycle counts and inventory checks to maintain stock accuracy.
- Update warehouse systems and documentation accurately.
- Support waste, recycling and scrap management processes.
- Deliver materials to production areas and transfer finished goods to storage locations.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety, GMP and warehouse procedures at all times.
- Support continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.
Qualifications & Experience:
- Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment.
- Forklift licence is advantageous; training can be provided.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Basic numerical and computer literacy skills.
- Ability to prioritise workload and work accurately under pressure.
- Experience using RF scanners or warehouse management systems would be beneficial.
- Knowledge of GMP or regulated manufacturing environments is desirable.Flexible approach and willingness to work across multiple warehouse functions.
