Responsibilities
- Independently manage a childcare caseload, including public law cases
- Represent children, parents, and local authorities across all stages from instruction to final hearing
- Handle care proceedings and adoption matters; may include private law children matters
- Demonstrate strong advocacy and knowledge of the Legal Aid system
- Collaborate with a forward‑thinking firm to support career development initiatives
Key requirements
- 3+ PQE
- passion for family law
- independent caseload management in childcare and public law
- knowledge of the Legal Aid system
- strong advocacy experience
- Children Panel accreditation is desirable
