THE ROLE
As an Asbestos Surveyor, you will be responsible for carrying out asbestos surveys across a wide range of client sites throughout Birmingham and the surrounding region.
Working independently and with the support of an experienced operations team, you will deliver high:quality surveying services while ensuring full compliance with current legislation, HSE guidance, and UKAS procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Carrying out Management and Refurbishment and Demolition (R and D) asbestos surveys in accordance with HSG264
- Conducting bulk asbestos sampling across a variety of property types
- Producing accurate and compliant asbestos survey reports
- Working across commercial, industrial, domestic, and public sector properties
- Managing your own workload and daily schedule efficiently
- Liaising professionally with clients, contractors, and internal teams
- Ensuring all work complies with current asbestos legislation and HSE guidance
What Were Looking For
- BOHS P402 qualification (essential)
- Previous experience working as an Asbestos Surveyor within a UKAS:accredited consultancy
- Strong understanding of HSG264 and current asbestos legislation
- Full UK driving licence
- Excellent communication, organisational, and report:writing skills
- Professional, reliable, and quality:focused approach to work
