Account Manager – Global Benefits Management

Overview

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of 4-6 international clients within Marsh Health and Benefits’ Global Benefits Management team. You will oversee insured employee benefits, coordinate renewals, and ensure alignment across mandatory locations, delivering global solutions and governance. You’ll work with senior clients and internal teams to drive strategy, harmonize benefits, and grow revenue. This position offers hybrid work with a strong client-focus and cross-border collaboration. You will help shape global benefit delivery for multinational organisations.

Responsibilities

• Manage client relationships and advise on global insured benefits
• Oversee GBM appointment implementation and ongoing client satisfaction, ensuring alignment across parties
• Collaborate with client teams to influence delivery and foster shared ownership
• Serve as lead global contact for deliverables under the GBM appointment with Global Client Managers
• Support execution of global benefit strategy (harmonization, standards, financing)
• Coordinate local in-country colleagues in their roles as specialists/brokers
• Monitor global benefit programs, provide regular reports, ensure governance processes are followed
• Stay informed on international benefit trends and market developments, advising clients accordingly
• Identify opportunities to grow client revenue and support new business development

Key requirements

• Proven consulting, client management or broking experience in a large global organisation
• Experience in Insurance, Financial Services or Employee Benefits sectors with multinationals
• Client-focused mindset with client-facing experience
• Ability to analyse and communicate on insured employee benefit products
• Excellent written and verbal communication with strong attention to detail
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills
• Results-oriented, able to work in a demanding environment
