Job overview

Are you looking for a new challenge in a rewarding environment?

Applications are invited for Band 4 Nursery Nurses to work within our Neonatal Unit and Transitional Care.

Neonatal Transitional Care (NTC) supports resident mothers as primary care providers for their babies with care requirements in excess of normal newborn care, but who do not require to be in a neonatal unit (NNU).

We are looking for highly motivated, compassionate and enthusiastic nursery nurses to join our neonatal nursing team. We have a position available, for individuals with a positive attitude and good communication skills.

Our Neonatal Unit is situated within Broomfield Hospital and is part of the East of England Operational Delivery Network. The Neonatal Ward is a Level 2 Local Unit and offers comprehensive neonatal services, which include designated Intensive Care cots, High Dependency cots, Special Care cots and a Transitional Care Service.

We are Gold level Bliss Accredited, and always strive to provide high quality, safe and effective care and are looking for someone with the vision, skill and enthusiasm to help take the unit forward.

We have Stage 2 BFI and continue to work towards Stage 3.

Main duties of the job
