Project Manager

Overview

As a Project Manager in L3Harris UK’s Brighton-based Release Systems & Antennas division, you will lead multi-disciplinary teams to deliver complex defence and aerospace projects on time, within scope and budget. You’ll manage the full program lifecycle from proposals to delivery, coordinating engineering, operations and external partners. You will communicate project objectives, track progress, and mitigate risks to ensure high quality outcomes. This role offers impact across customer orders, R&D projects, and design & development initiatives for mission-critical systems.

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary project teams to deliver on time, within scope and budget
• Create and implement integrated project schedules with the scheduler
• Own project budgets, resources, risks and delivery schedules
• Coordinate cross-department activities and engage with customers
• Conduct regular project risk reviews and implement mitigation
• Provide project status reports to management and assist with performance reviews
• Motivate and develop project team members
• Manage end-to-end bids and proposals
• Contribute to continuous improvement of PM processes

Key requirements

• 4+ years of project management experience in highly regulated industries (Defence/Aerospace)
• Experience in a manufacturing environment delivering production contracts (desirable)
• Formal PM qualifications such as APM PMQ, PRINCE2 Practitioner, PMP, or equivalent experience
• UK nationality and ability to obtain security clearance
• Right to work in the UK and eligibility for access to classified information
