Company: Madison Berkeley
Apply for the Investment Analyst – UK & Europe
Location: London
Job Description:

A privately owned, highly active real estate investment business is looking to appoint an Investment Analyst to join its lean UK & Europe investment team in London.

This is an opportunity for an ambitious analyst to gain exposure to the full investment lifecycle, from origination and underwriting through debt financing, asset management and development, to capital recycling and disposals. You will work closely with senior investment professionals and have meaningful exposure to investment decisions from day one.

The business is well capitalised and entrepreneurial, with an active pipeline of acquisitions, developments, repositioning opportunities and capital recycling. Recent and current projects include significant Central London developments and value-add opportunities across the West End and wider London market. The investment team is deliberately lean, meaning analysts gain exposure well beyond a traditional acquisitions remit and can develop a genuinely rounded investment skill set.

The Opportunity:

This is not a narrow acquisitions role, and you will be involved across the asset lifecycle, including orginiation & invstment, debt & financing, asset management & development, capital recyling & dispoals, joint ventures & co-investment.

You will have the opportunity to work across the complete investment lifecycle as well as gaining exposure to acquisitions, debt, asset management, development and disposals. Work on substantial, high-profile London projects, develop alongside experienced investment professionals and take ownership and see the impact of your work. Overall you will be able to progress within a privately owned, well-capitalised investment business and build a long-term career in an entrepreneurial environment.

You should have:

  • 1 -2 years real estate experience with strong Excel and financial modelling skills.
  • A strong academic background, ideally in finance, economics, real estate or a related discipline or degree.
  • Exceptional attention to detail.
  • A genuinely curious mindset and desire to understand how investments work end to end.
  • The confidence to form and communicate your own views.
  • Initiative and a go-getting attitude.
  • A collaborative personality suited to a small, high-performing team.
  • An investment mindset and the ability to think like an owner.
  • Candidates from investment banking, debt or other highly analytical backgrounds will also be considered.

This is a rare opportunity to join a small team where your development can be accelerated through genuine responsibility and exposure to senior decision-makers.
