Astute’s Renewables Team is partnering with an independent solar and storage O&M provider committed to professional development and sustainability to recruit a Junior Project Manager for its High Wycombe office.
The strategically important Junior Project Manager role comes with a salary up to £28,000, company pension, private healthcare, and 25 days’ holiday plus bank holidays, along with a suite of other wellbeing benefits.
Responsibilities and duties of the Junior Project Manager role
Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will:
- Manage activities across a portfolio of ground-mounted solar sites using project management tools
- Plan, define and coordinate project resource requirements
- Ensure resources are delivered on time, in the right condition, and within budget
- Oversee the work of Project Assistants based in India
- Lead client satisfaction reviews and produce management reports
- Ensure compliance with CDM regulations, Health & Safety, and environmental standards
- Work in line with the company’s Integrated Management System to support quality and HSE objectives
Professional qualifications
- Experience in a similar junior project management role, ideally within renewables or construction
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experienced with project management tools
- Good knowledge of quality assurance and Health & Safety principles
- Full UK driving licence
Personal skills
- Self-motivated, organised, and confident working to tight deadlines
- Able to communicate clear both verbally and in writing
- Comfortable working across multiple projects simultaneously
- Flexible and willing to occasionally travel and stay overnight
- Passionate about renewable energy and working in a dynamic, collaborative environment
